Наверное, большинство русскоязычной аудитории всё же знает такое явление современной музыки как «Нейромонах Феофан». Очень самобытный стиль. Но мне почему-то больше всего нравится песня, исполненная им совместно с группой «Слот» — «Древнерусская душа». Это смесь из вполне стандартного исполнения для Нейромонаха и такого теходэнс. Меня эти переходы от одного к другому очень в своё время зацепили. К сожалению, официального видео нет, поэтому ниже видео концертной записи, а также эта песня на Spotify.

Russian-speaking audience knows this band, called ‘Neuromonach Feofan» (literally it means ‘Neuromonk Theophanes’), but I doubt others know it. Several years ago he became a phenomenon, being a mysterious singer representing some kind of old Russian schemamonk, singing songs in a traditional ancient manner (at least what we recognize so based on Russian fairy-tale movies) with a modern interpretation.

And the song I introduce today is a joint project of two bands: ‘Neuromonach Feofan» and Slot. In English its title is ‘Ancient Russian Soul’. It is a mix of the Neuromanch’s traditional manner and some kind of techno dance. I believe it can be interesting for foreigners to listen to it at least once. For me it was a very impressive finding. Unfortunately there is no any official video of this song, so below you can see a concert video, and the Spotify version of the song. Hope you will enjoy it.
